Munich, Germany June 16th, 2010 – The international BIKE EXPO tradeshow does not only host the second edition of the BIG IN BAVARIA dirt jump competition, but also an open qualifying event called GO BIG OR GO HOME in Munich. Some of the big BMX names in dirt jumping already booked their trip to Munich from July 22nd to 25th. Overall 20,000 Euros prize money are waiting for them. Camp-Ramps just finished the skatepark in Düsseldorf Ulenberg Park. The Skate- and BMX-Scene organised the money from the council and managed to get a huge skatepark.
The Camp-Ramps Team build a huge line of different elements. A big Roll-In gives the speed to jump over a Jump Box with Hip-landing, followed by a Spine with two different height levels. A big Quarter completes the run. For further information check our homepage www.camp-ramps.com.

Skatepark of Tampa is proud to announce the 2010 additions to their BMX Team. Joining longtime Team members Jeff Harrington, Luis Pinzon, Sean Albright, Chad Moore, and Matt Coplon, we welcome aboard Tampa locals Josh Shaw (Kink Bmx), Conall Keenan (Profile), Tom Villarreal (Madera), and veteran, Forrest Roberts.

Featuring top skateboarding, BMX and inline skating pros performing thrilling tricks on a mobile half-pipe during on-campus assemblies, the Tour will present an important anti-tobacco cause message through announcements, trivia questions, brochures and attention-grabbing performances. It will educate students about the dangers of tobacco use, the risks associated with second-hand smoke and ways to combat the pressure to start smoking. The Tour will invite students to Get Up, Get Smart, and Get the Word Out Today about the risks of smoking.
At the 26 and 27 September 2009 the Reithalle in Ulm was reinaugurated with a big contest of the Schickaria.

Nike 6.0 Announces Dates for BMX PARK Event in Huntington Beach, CA. Nike 6.0 HB BMX Pro July 23-26. Total Purse: $40,800. The first-ever Nike 6.0 HB BMX PRO will be touching down south of the infamous Huntington Beach Pier, during the prestigious US Open of Surfing. With the loss of the Soul Bowl, Nike 6.0 stepped in to continue the excitement of BMX at the beach. 20 top BMX riders will be invited to compete in this uniquely formatted event, where riders compete in three qualification rounds, accumulating points and cash at every stage. The top 10 riders with the most accumulated points will proceed to the finals, vying for the $30,000 cash purse.
Automatic invites will go to the top 10 Dew Tour Park riders of 2008, who will collectively vote for 5 additional riders. The final five riders will be chosen by global BMX fans via an online contest.
